iPhone 5 and Its Features

iPhone 5 and Its Features
By Derek Yip
The new iPhone 5 sets to improve on the current model iPhone 4s. With 4G LTE speeds, a larger screen, free turn by turn navigation, a faster processor and also a sharper and slimmer design, there are some major changes that have been made with the iPhone 5.
The new iPhone 5 is probably one of the lightest smart phones available on the market. With the new construction as well as by slimming down the phone is absolutely amazing.
The retina display also adds amazing clarity to the screen. If you have never seen a retina display you'll be amazed at just how good video playback and regular use of the phone can look on a screen that has retina display.
With new LTE speeds you may be much more encouraged to use a pure data plan rather than use Wi-Fi. LTE runs anywhere from 10 to 20 MB per second, which is much faster than many home-based high-speed Internet connection speed rates. As a result with the iPhone 5 you may want to start using LTE more favorably than your Wi-Fi connection.
Perhaps one of the most shocking differences with the new iPhone 5 is that it has become much harder to unlock. This is because of the new technology known as a Nano Sim.
A Nano SIM is now the world's smallest SIM card and was approved for the new iPhone 5. In order to miniaturize the iPhone 5 even further they decided to go with this new nano SIM. Basically what this Sim card does is to trim off all of the excess plastic around the contacts leaving only the essential space without any extra plastic for you to easily remove the Sim card from your phone at any time. You will not be able to use this Sim card with any regular micro Sim card slot and will need to buy an adapter if you would like to consider using a different phone with the same Sim card. What this means for Apple iPhone 5 users that have existing Sim cards, is that you will need to trim your Sim card in order to fit or purchase an entirely new Sim card for your Apple iPhone 5. Currently this is the easiest way to do a standard Sim to nano SIM conversion.
Many people have taken to their Sim cards with scissors and utilizing this method you risk damaging the contacts which can lose all of your information that is stored on the Sim. Because the information that is stored on a Sim is extremely valuable, and replacing a Sim card can cost you a few dollars as well as all of your lost data, it may be wise to get a nano Sim cutter. This is how you can get a standard Sim to nano Sim conversion.
A nano Sim cutter can be purchased online and offers a guide that will make sure that all of your data is kept safe within the context of your Sim. For standard Sim to nano Sim conversion this is by far the safest way to easily cut your Sim to make it fit into your new iPhone 5 without risking your data or your cell phone plan.
While the iPhone 5 is a revolutionary new smart phone and it does come with a variety of new features that can be extremely helpful, it is important to protect your data and to consider a nano Sim Cutter if you are considering changing your cell phone over to an iPhone 5 and you would like to keep your existing plan and data.

Blackberry Bold 9900 Still On The Top

Blackberry Bold 9900 Still On The Top
By Rushikesh Kamreja
The best Smartphone that RIM has created for its Blackberry enthusiasts is the Bold 9900. According to the company, they are happy that they were able to come up with this model which for them is the best as compared to the older Blackberry devices. It has a black steel-trimmed design with dimensions of 155 mm in height, 66 mm in width and thickness of 0.5 mm. This is yet to be the thinnest Qwerty Blackberry Smartphone ever created. It has a Liquid Graphic touch screen display, 1.2GHz processor with 768 MB of RAM, the latest OS7 and a camera with High Density. The user interface responds rapidly and it also loads applications surprisingly fast plus it supports HTML5 and runs Adobe Flash.
The Blackberry Bold 9900 is far more improved compared to the previous models. As always, it still has the iconic front-facing qwerty keyboard, but it is softer and a little bit larger. It now has a responsive and capacitive touch screen display of 2.8 inches with 16 M colors with 640 x 480 pixels VGA and 286 pixels per inch.
RIM has made a few modifications with the Blackberry Bold 9900. They eliminated the leatherette made back and replaced it with a carbon fiber panel which adds a nice touch to the phone. The old shiny chrome strip was replaced by a stainless steel band that doesn't loop around its front and back just like its predecessor which is the Bold 9780. The sides of the unit have also been tweaked and built with a soft matte black plastic finish.
The 9900 has a 4-megapixel camera which takes very and good and quick photos even though it only has fixed focus. The snapper records 720p video resolution with a good frame rate. The phone's snapper also has features like, Geo-tagging, image stabilization and face detection.
The phone is built with 8 GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card for memory expansion up to 32GB. It now supports NFC that allows users to share media files and make purchases and pay bills wirelessly. It has Bluetooth, dual band WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, a magnetometer that works as a compass and a proximity sensor that disables the touch screen when you are on a call.
The Bold uses a 1230 mAh Lithium Ion battery that can give the phone life of up to 307 hours on both 2G and 3G on standby and a talk time up to 6.5 hours on 2G while it can last up to 6 hours on 3G and 50 hours of music playback.
In general, the Blackberry Bold 9900 is the ideal advancement for the Blackberry users today. With the existing competition in the mobile industry today, this by far is the best Smartphone that RIM has manufactured. The Bold 9900 delivers superior performance due to its 1.2GHz processor and Snapdragon chipset. Yes, it is definitely fast, but to have that stunning exterior and slim design and style, some features may have to be compromised on the inside. The battery life of the Bold 9900 had to be reduced and the camera's Autofocus component was dropped. However, some may just ignore these minor flaws and still choose the Blackberry Bold 9900.

Cell Phone Reviews - The Samsung Epic 4G

Cell Phone Reviews - The Samsung Epic 4G
By Jayden Cooper
There's no denying that the Samsung line of Galaxy S phones are impressive devices with their solid specs and gorgeous Super AMOLED displays. The Epic 4G continues Samsung's tradition of releasing powerful and stylish hardware, but adds a little more muscle to the mix.
At the heart, the Epic has a 1GHZ Hummingbird Cortex A8 processor - an engine designed to handle multiple tasks like streaming video, updating social media contacts and pushing the display without bogging down.
What sets this phone apart from some of its Galaxy S brethren is the inclusion of a hardware keyboard and front-facing camera.
As mentioned, the Galaxy S line offers some of the slickest designs you'll find in the phone arena. The Epic is a sexy slab of glass with rounded corners and a glossy black finish. Yeah, it's a fingerprint magnet, but it's a beautiful fingerprint magnet.
As cell phones become more like mini computers, manufactures are starting to realize that in many cases, bigger is better. The Samsung Epic 4G comes with a 4-inch display, which seems to be the sweet spot - just big enough for better web browsing and video playback and still small enough to be pocketable.
In addition to the on-screen keyboard, the Epic comes with a hardware keyboard as well. The keyboard is one of the better ones you'll find with spacious keys and good tactile response.
Like most manufactures of Android powered devices, Samsung has added their own skin over stock Android. Dubbed TouchWiz, this interface is not as attractive as, say, HTC's Sense, but it's still a quick. customizable and intuitive interface.
If there is one drawback to the Epic then it has to be the high price tag. Clocking in at $249.99, it's one of the more expensive phones you can buy. But, Samsung and Sprint will argue that the 4G network combined with the power of the device itself, make it a worthwhile purchase.
The bottom line is that, while there are cheaper options available, if you're a Sprint customer and want a top-of-the-line device, the Samsung Epic 4G won't disappoint.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Reviews

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Reviews
By Matthew Abbott
Before you decide which Samsung tablet you want, you should read at least one good Samsung Galaxy review. When it comes to the world of tablets, there are few companies that have gotten a better reputation for delivering great goods than Samsung. However, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet, which has a 10.1 inch screen, doesn't come without a pretty hefty price tag. At around $500 on Amazon, the Samsung Galaxy review you read should explain why it's worth every penny, otherwise you might end up with a product that you don't really want.
One of the best perks to the Samsung Tablet is that it is designed to be speedy. Many tablets that are currently on the market don't have too much in terms of speed and storage, and as a result, lag. With a dual core processor, and 1 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with around the same amount of power as a netbook, or a low end laptop. Most tablets on the market don't have that amount of power, and therefore cannot run most of the movies, music, and programs that the Samsung Galaxy is capable of running. Along with the speed that allows you to watch streaming videos online, the Samsung Galaxy also comes compatible with Flash player. Apple doesn't even have this capability.
It is often said, whether in a Galaxy review, or in an Apple iPad review, that no tablet PC is good without having WiFi capabilities. Currently, the Galaxy supports 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, and also is Bluetooth compatible. Surfing the net won't ever be a problem with the Galaxy. People who have used a Samsung Galaxy Tablet tend to be surprised at how rapid, how fluid surfing the net can be. Considering how powerful the processor is, it really shouldn't be that much of a surprise.
The Galaxy is an Android-powered tablet, and comes with full access to the Android market. As one of the best tablets on the market, the Galaxy comes fully compatible with Word, Excel, Access, and many other popular media formats. This OS is specifically designed with multitasking in mind, which means that you can surf the web while running music at the same time. The Android Apps market is massive - 200,000 different apps are available for purchase, so you will be able to find something that you enjoy without too much worry. 32 GB of storage also means that there will be more than enough space to store all of your apps without having to add a special SD card for more space.
The design is what usually is mentioned first in most Galaxy reviews, but it's usually a good idea to save the best for last. So far, the Galaxy has received many accolades for its sleek, lightweight design. It has even been compared to the iPad. It comes with a built in high definition camera which can record video, take photos, and be used in video chat. Along with a front facing camera, the Galaxy also comes with a back-facing camera, which is perfect for catching special moments.
Visuals are the best part of the Galaxy's design. The high resolution screen has drawn compliments from even the most picky of tablet owners. At a 1280 by 800 pixel per square inch resolution, this is one tablet that is very difficult to beat in terms of high definition pictures. The high resolution screen makes the 2 and 3 megapixel cameras even more useful. After all, being able to share the minute details of a photograph can only be done with high resolution screens. It is very hard to find a well-known Samsung Galaxy review, or any Samsung Galaxy reviews at all, which don't have something great to say about the screen's resolution.
Many people currently say that the Samsung is one of the best tablets on the market. Its great design, powerful processing, ample storage, and trendy Android operating system definitely suggest that the Samsung Galaxy reviews that say it's the best on the market might be right. Innovative and edgy, the Galaxy is one of the very few tablets on the market that doesn't seem to have any complaints about it. Take the advice from this Galaxy review - the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a must have!
We do the research, you make the choice!sincerely hope that the information provided on this site will help you to make an informed buying decision whether you are looking for. Samsung galaxy tab 10.1, Samsung galaxy. ii or an Samsung galaxy tab 7. With so many different models and styles of tablet available it is very confusing to know what is good and what is junk.
